A real estate market is not read at the scale of a province. It is read street by street. The median price of a semi-detached home in Sainte-Rose tells you nothing useful about what is happening in Chomedey, and a triplex in Old Terrebonne does not negotiate like a triplex in Repentigny.
That is why I work by sector rather than by broad territory. I cover twenty-four cities equally, with no preferred territory, across the island of Montreal, the North Shore and the South Shore. My RE/MAX Du Cartier office is in Laval, but I work on the ground in every one of them.
North Shore, Laurentians and Lanaudière: Laval, Terrebonne, Blainville, Repentigny, Saint-Jérôme, Boisbriand, Sainte-Thérèse, Rosemère, Mascouche, Saint-Eustache, Mirabel.
Island of Montreal: all 19 boroughs.
South Shore and Montérégie: Longueuil, Brossard, Boucherville, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Chambly, La Prairie, Candiac, Delson, Sainte-Julie, Varennes, Châteauguay, Saint-Constant.
Each page below describes what actually defines the area: the neighbourhoods, the dominant property types, what moves prices locally, and the mistakes I see most often from buyers and sellers.
I work in French, English, Spanish and Arabic. If your area is not on the list, write to me anyway: I serve Greater Montreal, the Laurentians and Lanaudière.
