What is collected
What you provide voluntarily. When you fill out a form on this site: first name, last name, email address, phone number, the nature of your project (buying, selling, evaluation, investment) and the message you write.
What is recorded automatically with your request. The page you wrote from, the site that brought you here, and the campaign parameters present in the address if you arrive from an advertisement. These elements serve only to know which source generates requests.
What the site does not do. No user account, no payment, no advertising cookie placed by this site. No sensitive information is requested.
Why it is collected
- To answer your request and follow up
- To present properties or analysis matching your project
- To meet the obligations of a real estate broker governed by the OACIQ
- To measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
If you check the newsletter box, your address is also used to send you new listings and market analysis. That consent is separate and optional. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who has access
Your information is consulted by Georges Matar. It may be shared only in these cases:
- RE/MAX DU CARTIER INC., the agency the broker is attached to, when the file requires it
- Formspree, the service that routes the site’s forms to the broker’s email. Its servers are located in the United States.
- A collaborating broker on the file, when a listing is shared between brokers, and only for that file
- Authorities, when required by law
Your information is never sold, rented or traded.
How long it is kept
Requests without follow-up are kept for three years, then deleted. Files that led to a transaction are kept according to the timelines imposed by the regulations applicable to Quebec real estate brokers.
Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you may:
- Request access to the information held about you
- Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
- Withdraw your consent and request deletion of your information
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter, through the link in every send or by email
- File a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec
